University of Rochester

Founded in 1850, the University of Rochester (U of R) is one of the nation's leading private universities, with just over 4,500 undergraduates. Holdsworth Klimowski Construction (HKC) has completed construction projects for the U of R over the last 20 years including a $7 million addition to Helenwood Hall School of Nursing. The Helenwood addition included a new auditorium, large classrooms, a student commons, and upgrades to administrative offices.

Elsewhere on the U of R campus, HKC has completed work in Gavett Hall, Hucthinson Hall, the Bausch & Lomb Building, the Simon School of Business, and the Rush Rhees Library including new conference and meeting rooms. We also constructed the new Wilson Commons Starbucks and completed an addition to, and renovations of, the President's residence, an historic Rochester home.
