Recognizing their Emergency Department needed expansion and renovation in order to continue to provide vital emergency services to patients, Jones Memorial Hospital selected Holdsworth Klimowski Construction (HKC) to renovate the entire Emergency Department, including the main entrance. HKC demolished the old entrance and rebuilt it with a new glass-enclosed vestibule. We expanded the waiting room and reception area and built a new patient admission and administrative office. Interior construction included renovations of six other rooms including the patient triage center, patient exam rooms, medication storage room, and the central nurses control station.
