Auburn Correctional Facility
At the Auburn Correctional Facility in Auburn, New York, Holdsworth Klimowski Construction (HKC) completed extensive interior renovations to this maximum security prison. We completely gutted, and then rebuilt, the existing mental health unit. HKC also demolished the entire third floor of another building in the complex and reconstructed it for use as administrative office space. We then built an enclosed connecting "cat walk" between that building and the main facility. New detention windows and screening were also installed in all the renovated areas.
